The month of November was busy for the Delta Kappa chapter. On August 3rd, a group from the chapter made their way to St. Louis to attend the Academy. The girls attended multiple sessions where they learned about leadership and ways to better our chapter. We had a mixer with Tri Sigma at Swonder Ice Rink and attended Lambda Chi's annual Pumpkin Bust. The 2018 pledge class was initiated on November 11th and we celebrated Founder's Day with some of our alumnae after the ceremony. On the 17th, a large group from the chapter travelled to Louisville to cheer on the runners during Girls on the Run and then some of those girls attended the USI Dance Marathon later that evening. The new executive board and officers were voted on towards the end of the month and made their transitions into their positions. Finishing out the month, a group attended a self-defense sisterhood hosted by the Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Department! Now that Thanksgiving break has passed, the girls are getting ready for finals and finishing up the semester!
